Located in Group 4 of Yinhe village, Zhongquan Town, Yantan District of Zigong City, the fossil is preserved in purple siltstone. It is a clearly dissected and perfectly preserved fossil skeleton of a stegosaur. It was then named as "Gigantspinosaurus sichuanensis ".
