Welcome to
Located in Yuandingyuan, Huidong, Zigong, the fossil was excavated from the Middle Jurassic purple siltstone. An intact extra-large skeleton of a sauropod was excavated within an area of 15 m2. Based on the bone size, the body length of this dinosaur is estimated to be 22 m. It was classified as Mamenchisaurus hochuanensis.
